As announced earlier, our CEO, Steven M. Hilton has decided to retire after 30 years of dedicated service to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. We’ve been working behind the scenes since the announcement to find Steve’s successor. We are fortunate to have ample time to find a new leader who will continue to implement the wishes of our founder, Conrad N. Hilton, while bringing new possibilities to the work of the Foundation.

We hope to have our new CEO on board by the time Steve retires at the end of 2015. The board has retained Spencer Stuart, an executive search firm, to assist us. Spencer Stuart (conradhilton@spencerstuart.com) will receive all nominations on our behalf.

We thank you for the outpouring of good will and support that we have received since the announcement of Steve’s retirement. We know that these sentiments are a reflection of the vision, the humanity, and the leadership that Steve has provided in building the Foundation. We value our partnerships built over the years and look forward to continuing our mission—helping the world’s disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
