Hilton Foundation Agoura Hills campus

Permanent home

In 2007 our board of directors decided in favor of building a permanent home for the Foundation to reflect our goal of carrying out our founder’s charge for generations to come.

Our new campus is a testimony of our commitment to continuing our work to improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people well into the future.

Preparing for future growth

This new home in Agoura Hills will prepare the Hilton Foundation for the time it will double in size and staff. My father, Barron Hilton, has pledged his intent to follow in the footsteps of his father, Conrad Hilton, and contribute 97% of his entire net worth at the time of his passing. This new project will allow us to grow accordingly into the future.

—Hilton Foundation President and CEO, Steven M. Hilton

This building is the first phase of a four-phase, 70-acre campus that will allow us to house Hilton Foundation staff as it expands with our work.

Committing to the environment

Our new campus has been carefully designed as a cutting-edge, environmentally sensitive and energy-efficient building that co-exists in harmony with the surrounding environment. We are proud that it has been designed to meet Platinum LEED-certified green standards and we hope to achieve this recognition, as one of the top green-building accolades in the world, upon completion.

The site will serve as an educational resource where visitors can learn more about “building green,” the generation and use of renewable power, best practice uses of water, and optimal use of native plant species in landscaping. Visit the Building Design page to learn more about our campus.

Serving as a good neighbor

The Foundation is committed to enhancing the Agoura Hills community by serving as a good neighbor. We will be a source of information and ideas by offering the expertise of our staff, who can speak on a variety of topics at events sponsored or hosted by local non-profit organizations. Additionally, we will boost the local economy by bringing new professional jobs to the community, and encouraging our staff to engage in volunteerism and community service.

Consistent with our desire to establish and maintain a positive presence in the local community, we have developed guidelines for local philanthropic involvement that complement our priorities. Although it is our policy not to accept unsolicited proposals for our priority programs, we will entertain unsolicited proposals for small-scale community focused grants that fall within these guidelines.
