To provide capital support for the construction of a new 177 bed shelter in West Los Angeles that will connect residents to case managers to help secure documentation and services individuals need to become permanently housed in the community.

To increase the permanent housing placements of clients moving out of interim housing sites, making those interim housing beds available to safely bring more people off the streets, particularly seniors of color who are disproportionately impacted by homelessness and COVID-19 in Los Angeles County.

$3.5 million in capital funding for 912 new interim housing beds in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, $500,000 to increase permanent housing placements for individuals released from state prisons to L.A. County, and $1.25 million for capacity building to establish an Operations Division within Brilliant Corners’ Housing Services Department to enhance its growing role in implementing efforts to end homelessness in L.A. County.

to ensure the preservation of aging PSH properties and support systems improvements to streamline housing placements through the Coordinated Entry System so individuals exiting homelessness achieve housing stability quickly, and can access client-centered housing that is sustainable over the long term.

to plan and implement a systemic approach to increasing the voice and power of those with lived expertise of homelessness within the homeless response system in Los Angeles County.

To launch a job training program for people experiencing or who recently experienced homelessness, focusing on those re-entering the workforce after incarceration.

To launch a Shelter Improvement Fund to help shelter owners and operators overcome barriers to creating quality, culturally competent, and trauma-informed facilities, ultimately improving the flow of the street to permanent home process for individuals experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County.

to support Opportunity Starts at Home, a multi-sector national campaign to ensure that marginalized households with the lowest incomes, which disproportionately includes people of color, have safe, accessible, and affordable homes.

to provide capacity support for WLCAC's homelessness and housing services division and strengthen service provision for individuals experiencing homelessness in South Los Angeles.

to support Funders for Housing and Opportunity (FHO), a cross-sector, non-partisan, national collaborative committed to bettering life outcomes for rent burdened households and individuals experiencing homelessness through permanent housing.
