This World AIDS Day, We Salute the Efforts of our Partners to Help Children Affected by HIV and AIDS to Thrive

On this World AIDS Day, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation salutes all of its partners and the efforts of parents and caregivers living in communities affected by HIV and AIDS to foster the healthy growth and development of their young children.

HIV and AIDS are far from over and it is more important than ever to support families living with HIV and AIDS given the multiple impacts that the disease has had on young children and caregiving. That is why the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s Children Affected by HIV and AIDS Strategic Initiative focuses on improving the developmental outcomes of young children affected by HIV and AIDS in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia. One of our partners working in Zambia is Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD). Read ERD President Rob Radtke’s blog regarding his visit to see for himself how early childhood development centers are supporting the communities hit hardest by this deadly disease.
