Charles Burton-Callegari

Charles Burton-Callegari supports the Global Early Childhood Development team at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation as its administrative assistant. He coordinates logistics for international and domestic travel, supports the ECD-US and ECD-ESA teams with writing and editing, liaises with external stakeholders, and works closely with Director Lisa Bohmer to keep the Global Early Childhood Development Initiative running smoothly.

Prior to working at the Foundation, Charles was the Development Coordinator and Board Liaison at The Chrysalis Center, a social enterprise operating throughout Southern California. He was previously on the front line of Chrysalis’s service delivery as an Employment Specialist, working with his caseload of clients to chart paths to self-sufficiency through full-time employment for those experiencing barriers to the workforce. Charles also worked for the Office of Hillary Rodham Clinton and for the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College in Maine.
