James Kim is responsible for playing a critical role in helping the Foundation’s investment team manage its portfolio. James will also assess investment opportunities globally, support the Chief Investment Officer and independently be responsible for some elements of the ongoing assessment and development of the Foundation’s investment structure, philosophy, strategy, policies and team. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Kim was a senior associate at Clearlake Capital and an associate at Leonard Green & Partners. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
