Jodie Hanson-Nortey

Jodie Hanson-Nortey is Program Associate, Catholic Sisters (Africa), and plays an important role in coordinating grantmaking activities for the Program Department at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. She monitors current grants and supports the development, review and presentation of proposals for the Catholic Sisters Initiative, Africa and Global portfolios. Prior to joining the Foundation, Hanson-Nortey was the Director of Development at Eternity Bible College in Simi Valley where she managed donor relations, fundraising activities and marketing campaigns. She brings extensive experience in business entrepreneurship having successfully owned and operated a professional organizing business for over fifteen years, during which time she helped other small business owners organize for efficiency of systems and processes to enhance their productivity, improve their project, task and time management skills, and increase their effectiveness towards reaching their business goals.  Hanson-Nortey has a Graduate Certificate in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Certificate in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship from University of Phoenix and a Certificate in Strategic Management from Georgetown University.
