Refugio Hernandez is responsible for the overall daily maintenance of the irrigation system and landscape at our new location, including oversight of outside maintenance crews. The landscape design of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s 44-acre campus includes several green strategies, such as rainwater collection in an underground cistern, vegetated roofs, and native habitat restoration. Prior to joining the Foundation, Hernandez worked for Oak Ridge Company (formerly California Landscape) and most recently for ValleyCrest Landscape Companies. In addition, he has installed irrigation systems and provided landscaping services to residential customers.
